Vission and Mission
The vision and mission of MAKEDA21 TALENT TRAINING & COACHING is that everyone is born with talents and must be given the opportunity to develop them, no matter how big or small they may be. And based on the talents one can develop entrepreneurial skills which will be beneficial for a lifetime.
In the first instance, this will be for the benefit of one’s own personal development and in the second instance for the benefit of family and the community one belongs to, regardless of one’s origin and the stage of life. The sooner the talents are identified and developed the better.
Sometimes, the identification of talents happens when one is at a crossroad in life.
In some cases it means that you have to reinvent yourself, in other cases you can still realize your untapped talents and your dreams. “I did not know that I had this in me” is the response often heard when it turns out that in a crisis situation you have more potential in you than yourself or others expected. It is especially these experiences that are a source of wisdom, especially if you want to contribute to the talent development of young people in the future.

Healthcare
Within the Healthcare sector I went through my first career as an Intensive Coronary Care nurse. As a Health Care Teacher I worked at various Regional Nursing Training Courses and later as a 1st grade Health Care teacher at the Nurse HBOV ( Higher Vocational Training). These experiences have led to a better appreciation and importance of Preventive Health Care.
Culture and Culture Philosophy
I developed my love for culture in the broad sense of the word during my study Cultural Training at the Social Academy. Additionally, I followed the following studies as an external student at the university; Basic knowledge of 20th century Western Philosophy, Eastern Philosophies and African Studies.
Later I was inspired by Prof. C.A. van Peursen ( Culture Philosopher ) to study Culture Philosophy and the influence of culture on different eras; from agricultural to the technological era and vice versa. The accompanying changing world views made it possible to better understand the context of the events that were going on. I took the Caribbean course at the KTL to study the Caribbean and South American environment and culture, in which I was raised.
Public Administration and Management
As a board member of various organizations I have been able to get to know policy and management of various organizations such as; Stichting Provinciale Vrouwenraad Zuid-Holland (Provincial Women’s Council for emancipation of women and men), Foundation Migrant Women Orient Theselves to Society (MIVRO ORSA), Radio and TV Rijnmond Foundation, Rotterdam Festival Foundation. Moreover, as a member of the supervisory board in a hospital in Rotterdam, I gained a broader view of the ins and outs of a hospital at an administrative level.
Later I was able to further substantiate these public administration experiences with an academic study of Public Administration / Bachelors: Public Private Operations and Management.
In 2005, as a Member of Third Parliament for the Millennium Goals in The Hague, I was able to contribute to the local Millennium Goals for 2015, together with other Members of Parliament for 2015, which have since been expanded to 17 Goals for the year 2030.
The MAKEDA21 TALENT TRAINING & COACHING is based on my acquired and diverse knowledge and experiences. During this basic training, the candidates are taught how to make their own discoveries. This method emerges from the concept that the identification of talents is a lifelong process. Moreover on the bases of talents, one can be employable; either as a hobbyist, employee of a firm, or as an entrepreneur.
Finally, I think that a healthy portion of humor, respect for oneself and others makes life and one’s immediate environment much more pleasant.
